IFA’s mission is to entrench accountability within the country and especially within the political class by demands from ordinary citizens by producing and providing films and other content that are accessible to communities in order to spur discussions and debates on issues of concern in communities.

InformAction (IFA) is a registered non-profit, field-based, social justice organization that has operated in Kenya since January 2009. IFA has eight mobile Field Bases , supported by the central Nairobi Base. It uses high quality social justice documentaries to spur discussion and debate on issues of concern in the communities, always encouraging active and peaceful participation in the democratic process. IFA uses the camera-during the making of the documentaries- and screen to give ordinary citizens the confidence to speak out, encouraging them to make demands from a position of understanding and accurate information. This is a unique approach to human rights and social justice that goes well beyond conventional methods.
